Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to contain Russian units in Pokrovsk and conduct search-and-strike operations to eliminate occupying troops inside the city, according to the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces.
Ukrainian positions in the city center remain intact, and small-arms battles continue. Russian forces have been unable to gain a foothold in central Pokrovsk. Assault groups, operating in coordination with other units within the 7th Corps’ area of responsibility, are continuously engaged in clearing operations.
In recent days, the 425th Separate Assault Regiment “Skala” conducted operations to clear the areas around the railway station, the Pokrovsk Pedagogical College, and Sobornyi Square. This prevented Russian forces from accumulating manpower and attempting to increase pressure on the northern part of the city.
All Russian attempts to cross the railway line and enter northern Pokrovsk result in heavy losses. According to Ukrainian forces, since the beginning of November, 388 Russian soldiers have been eliminated in Pokrovsk, and another 87 have been wounded.
Recently, Russian troops attempted to move a tank to the southern outskirts of Pokrovsk and conceal it for future assaults. Operators of the 7th Corps’ SKY STRIKE Unit, working together with the 68th Separate Ranger Brigade, detected the tank and destroyed it.
Fighting for Pokrovsk continues. Ukrainian forces maintain control over key positions and keep pushing Russian troops out of the city.
