The 1,295th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From September 9 to 10, 200 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. There were 60 battles in the Pokrovsk direction, 40 in the Novopavlivka direction, and 16 attempts by the Russians to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses in the Lyman direction.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
During the day, the enemy launched three missile and 73 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used seven missiles, and dropped 93 guided bombs. In addition, 5,777 kamikaze drones were used to attack 4,838 Ukrainian Armed Forces positions and populated areas, 95 of which were launched from multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out an air strike on the settlement of Olgivka in the Kherson region.
Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
Nine combat clashes were recorded in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions over the past day. The enemy carried out 12 air strikes, dropping a total of 24 guided bombs and firing 222 artillery rounds, including four from multiple launch rocket systems.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lyman, and Siversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky direction, eight combat clashes took place in the Vovchansk area.
In the Kupiansky direction, seven attacks by the occupiers were recorded during the day. The defense forces repelled the enemy’s assault in the Steppova Novoselivka area and in the direction of Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Pishchane.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 16 times, trying to advance in the areas of the settlements of Novomykhailivka, Karpivka, Serednie, Shandryholove, Kolodyazi, Zarichne, and Torske.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 21 times in the areas of Serebryanka, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Yampil, Dronivka, Vyimka, and Pazeno.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Pokrovsk directions
Over the past day, three combat clashes took place in the Stupochok area in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Katerynivka, Yablunivka, Poltavka, and in the direction of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 60 attacks by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Nove Shakhov, Zapovidne, Myrolyubivka, Noveokonomichne, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and in the direction of Vilne, Rodynske, Promen, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovske, and Molodetsk.
Novopavlivka direction
In the Novopavlivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 40 enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Maliivka, Komyshuvakha, Novomykolaivka, Olgivka, and in the direction of the settlements of Filia, Ivanivka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, Ternove, and Novoivanivka.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations in the Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and Prydniprovsk directions.
No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
