        Overnight drone attack on Kharkiv leaves 12 injured, damages homes, business centres and vehicles

        Russian forces attacked several districts of Kharkiv with drones overnight on July 12. Twelve people were injured, including girls aged 14 and 16.

        Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov and Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov reported the consequences of the attack.

        Drone strikes were recorded in the Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi and Nemyshlianskyi districts of the city. A fire broke out at a garage complex in the Kyivskyi district following one of the strikes.

        According to Terekhov, more than 20 residential buildings were damaged in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

        Updated figures from the regional authorities showed that 12 people were injured in Kharkiv. A 14-year-old girl sustained injuries, while a 16-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction.

        Four apartment buildings, a retail pavilion, a café, a bicycle rental point, three business centres, a warehouse, a petrol station, a tyre service shop, a car repair shop, a car wash and a garage were damaged.

        Nine vehicles were also damaged.

        Over the past 24 hours, Russian strikes hit Kharkiv and seven other settlements in the region. A total of 20 people were injured across the region, including two children.
