The 1127th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From March 25 to 26, 207 combat engagements were recorded at the front. The situation remains the most tense in the Pokrovsk sector. The number of attacks on the Liman, Toretsk and Novopavlivka directions has also increased.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the enemy conducted 116 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements, dropping 184 drones. In addition, it carried out more than 5,500 attacks, including 159 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,233 kamikaze drones to attack.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the vicinity of populated areas:
- Petrushivka, Ugroydy, Krasnopillia, Prokhody, Turya in Sumy region;
- Zolochiv, Prudyanka in Kharkiv region;
- Serhiivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Chunyshyno, Novopil, Zorya, Sukha Balka, Piddubne in Donetsk region;
- Ternove, Dachne, Dnipropetrovska oblast;
- Novodarivka, Orikhiv, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Vesele, Oleksandrivka and Dudchany in Kherson region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman and Siversk sectors
In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of Vovchansk, Tykhyi and towards Kamianka.
In the Kupyansk sector, five attacks took place yesterday. Ukrainian troops stopped the enemy’s assault in the areas of Zahryzove and Petropavlivka.
In the Liman sector, the enemy attacked 24 times. He tried to break into the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense near Yampolivka, Nadiya, Kopanky and towards Novomykhailivka, Olhivka, Novyi, Katerynivka.
In the Seversky sector, the Defense Forces stopped five offensives near the towns of Bilohorivka, Verkhnekamianske and Ivano-Daryivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
Two firefights were registered in the Kramatorsk sector yesterday in the areas of Predtechyne and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy made 26 attacks in the vicinity of Toretsk and near Diliyivka and Krymske.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 69 aggressor’s attacks in the areas of Sukha Balka, Kalynove, Oleksandropil, Zelene Pole, Lysivka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Shevchenko, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, Bohdanivka and towards Novosergiyivka, Malynivka, Kotlyarivka.
Novopavlivske, Huliaipil, Kursk and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy conducted 23 attacks near the towns of Rozlyv, Dniproenergia and Kostiantynopil yesterday.
In the Huliaipil sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped one enemy attempt to advance near Pryvilne.
In the Orikhivsk sector, the enemy tried to advance nine times in the vicinity of Kamianske and in the direction of Lobkove and Stepove.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, there was one firefight with the enemy.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue operations in the Kursk region. Yesterday, the enemy carried out 19 air strikes, downing 23 UAVs, and fired 247 times, seven of which were from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders stopped 29 invaders’ assault actions.
