Over the past day, Russian forces shelled 17 settlements in Ukraine’s Sumy region, using guided aerial bombs, attack drones, FPV drones and mortars. One person was killed and five others were injured in the attacks.
This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
In the Novoslobidska community, a 53-year-old man was killed in a Russian drone attack. Another man, aged 50, was injured.
In the Konotop community, a 74-year-old man was wounded after a Russian drone strike, while a 75-year-old woman was also injured.
In the Krolevets community, a 14-year-old boy was wounded in a drone attack.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, a 49-year-old woman was injured in mortar shelling.
Police investigative teams worked at the strike sites, documenting the consequences of the Russian attacks.
