        5 September 2025 07:33

On the night of September 5, a large fire broke out at a local oil refinery in Ryazan after a drone attack. The flames were visible from almost all parts of the city, and thick columns of smoke rose into the sky.

According to the Telegram channel Supernova+, the ELOU-AVT-6 facility, capable of processing about 6 million tons of oil per year, was hit.

An oil depot in occupied Luhansk was also attacked at night. The fire broke out at the facility on Rudneva Street.

The Ateş partisan movement reported conducting reconnaissance of this hub, through which the Russian army supplies fuel to troops in the Kupiansk, Izyum, and Kramatorsk directions.

Systematic strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on Russian oil depots and refineries are already having serious consequences. In Crimea, gasoline has completely disappeared from some gas stations, while at others it appears only sporadically.

Fuel shortages have also been reported in other regions of Russia: in Transbaikalia, the price tags for AI-95 have disappeared from gas stations, and the remaining gasoline is being sold only to corporate clients. In Vladivostok, two brands are in short supply: AI-92 and AI-95.
