On 21 June, Russian troops struck the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region, injuring seven people, including six law enforcement officers.
In the morning, in one of the villages of the Chervonohryhorivska community, an enemy FPV drone attacked a road where Ukrainian police officers were on duty. All six were injured in the explosion.
After lunch, Nikopol came under artillery fire. One of the shells hit a private house, injuring the 63-year-old owner.
In addition to human casualties, significant damage was recorded: residential buildings, farm buildings, garages, a car, solar panels and a petrol station were damaged, which was engulfed in flames. Many buildings had broken windows, damaged roofs, walls and fences.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code – violation of the laws and customs of war.
