On the night of 22 June, Russian troops launched massive strikes on peaceful settlements in the Donetsk and Odesa regions. Civilians were injured and dozens of buildings were destroyed as a result of the attack.
In Kramatorsk, a four-storey residential building partially collapsed as a result of an air strike. Rescuers pulled a man born in 1955 from the rubble and rescued a woman and a 14-year-old girl. Work to clear the rubble continues — people may still be trapped under the ruins.
A private house was destroyed in Sloviansk. A 17-year-old boy was killed. Rescuers also extinguished two large fires, including one in a 3,000 m² building.
In total, as a result of the night attack in the Donetsk region, one person was killed, three were injured, and more than 40 objects were damaged.
In the south, the enemy attacked the Odesa region. As a result of the strikes, buildings on the territory of an ambulance station, a garage with a car, and a nearby residential building caught fire. Rescuers and the local fire brigade quickly extinguished the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
