Italy’s Elisa Cosetti won the silver medal, while Germany’s Maike-Elena Halbisch took bronze.

Ahead of the competition, European Aquatics named Chukanivska as one of the athletes to watch at the championships. The federation noted her recent successful performances in the World Series, which had established the Ukrainian as one of the breakthrough performers of the European season.

Eight athletes competed in the women’s event in Paris. The first two rounds took place on August 7, with two more rounds, including the final dives, held on August 8.
