        Massive night attack on Odesa: among six victims are children, youngest is seven months old

        Tonight, 31 December, Russia launched a massive strike on the Odesa region. Strike drones attacked residential, logistics and energy infrastructure.

        This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper.

        As a result of falling debris and direct hits by Russian UAVs, several multi-storey residential buildings were damaged in Odesa, and fires broke out in apartments at one of the strike sites. Civilian vehicles were damaged by the fire.

        According to Sergei Lysak, head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, the number of victims has increased to six. Among the wounded are three children: a seven-month-old baby, an eight-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy. The children are in a moderate condition, while one of the wounded adults is in a serious condition.

        Parts of the city are currently without electricity. Repair work is ongoing at some critical infrastructure facilities, which means that some residents are temporarily without water and heating.
