Kharkiv was once again attacked by Russian drones. On the night of May 30, the enemy attacked the city with Shahed UAVs, causing damage to infrastructure and residential buildings. According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the main impact was on a utility company in the Sloboda district and a trolleybus depot where vehicles were being repaired.

A total of eight hits were recorded. One trolleybus was completely destroyed at the depot, and 18 other vehicles were damaged. The shelling also damaged more than 30 apartment buildings. Two residents needed medical assistance.

According to Terekhov, most of the transport managed to avoid being hit due to its early dispersal across the city. Despite the losses, the city’s transportation system continues to operate, and public transportation in Kharkiv remains free. The mayor thanked international partners for their assistance in the form of new trolleybuses and buses.

In addition to Kharkiv, Chuhuiv community was also attacked. According to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, eight people were wounded in the village of Vasyliv Khutir, including two 16-year-old teenagers.

In Slobidskyi district of Kharkiv, at least one victim is known to be an employee of a utility company. She and the other wounded are being provided with the necessary assistance. The shelling aftermath is being eliminated and the extent of the damage is being determined.
