        “Khartiia” raised UAH 30 million at a charity event in honour of the brigade’s second anniversary

        The 13th Special Forces Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine ‘Khartiia’ gathered friends and partners to report on the results and achievements of the two years since the brigade was established. The event included a charity auction that raised UAH 30 million to purchase a powerful reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle to enhance the brigade’s intelligence and analytical capabilities.

        The lots for the auction were donated by friends of the ‘Khartiia’, Serhiy Zhadan, Andriy Shevchenko and Elina Svitolina, who have been systematically supporting the unit since its foundation. Andriy Shevchenko, President of the Ukrainian Football Association, drew a lot with a paddle tennis game and two VIP tickets to a match of the Ukrainian national team. Elina Svitolina drew a lot with a tennis masterclass and lunch.

        Vyacheslav Klimov and Volodymyr Popereshnyuk (NOVA Group), Viktor Ivanchyk (Astarta), Kateryna Zagoriy (Zagoriy Foundation), and Igor Mazepa (Concorde Capital) also came to support and congratulate the team, Sergiy Koretsky (Ukrnafta), Anton Ivanov (Metalist 1925), Alexander Kamyshin, Sergey Stakhovsky, Petro Rondyak (Winner Group), Timofey Milovanov (KSE) and other leaders of the business, cultural and sports community.

        The programme also featured performances by Svyatoslav Vakarchuk and the bands Zhadan i Sobaki and Latexfauna. The auction was hosted by Anton Tymoshenko.
