Kharkiv is developing design and estimate documentation for the construction of an underground kindergarten, which will become a unique safe space for preschoolers.
This was announced by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov during a telethon on April 17.
“The underground kindergarten is an ambitious and important project. We are currently developing design and estimate documentation. This is a difficult task, because such facilities have never been built before,” Terekhov emphasized.
After this stage is completed, construction will begin. According to Terekhov, the kids will be able to attend kindergarten and communicate with each other in a safe environment in the frontline city.
