Magyar said he was heading to Brussels to attend an important EU summit. The agenda includes further strengthening the protection of the EU’s external borders, addressing the energy crisis and discussing the EU’s seven-year budget, which is crucial for Hungary’s development.

On Wednesday, October 14, Magyar plans to hold talks with the prime ministers of the Visegrád Four countries.

On Thursday, ahead of the summit, he will attend a meeting of European People’s Party heads of government, as well as consultations on cohesion policy convened by the Italian prime minister.
