Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has sharply responded to Vladimir Putin’s latest speech, calling it a “performance of Russian imperialism” and a clear signal to the world about the Kremlin’s true intentions.

“Yes, he wants all of Ukraine — not just since 2014, not for four years, but for a long time. That’s who he is, shaped by Russian imperialism,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

The Ukrainian president emphasized that when Putin talks about Ukraine, he also implicitly refers to Belarus, the Baltics, Moldova, the Caucasus, and even Kazakhstan — essentially “any place on Earth that Russian killers can reach.”

“Putin’s power ends where the reach of Russian murderers ends,” he declared.

Three Strategic Moves: Sanctions, Drones, and Diplomatic Shake-Ups

In response to what Zelensky described as “the enemy’s candour,” Ukraine is launching a threefold strategy:

        1. International and Domestic Sanctions
Ukraine will initiate new global sanctions against Russia and crack down internally on individuals or businesses still cooperating with the aggressor, including those operating on occupied territories.

“Everyone must feel that this is criminal activity.”

        1. Scaling Up Drone Capabilities
More resources will be allocated to the development and deployment of drones — from long-range strike UAVs to tactical frontline systems aimed at stopping Russian advances.
        2. Personnel Changes in Diplomacy and Governance
Zelensky announced upcoming replacements in Ukraine’s diplomatic corps and institutional leadership. Within a month, he will hold a summit with all Ukrainian ambassadors to finalize this “transformation” aimed at boosting foreign partnerships and internal resilience.

New Pressure on Moscow: NSDC Decisions and Covert SBU Orders Underway

Zelensky noted that recent directives to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) are classified. However, the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) is already preparing new resolutions.

Ukraine is shifting into a daily operational mode for informing the public and partners about diplomatic efforts to achieve national goals.

“This month is about special action. We will complicate the lives of the occupiers to make our path to peace easier,” Zelensky concluded.
