The photo project ‘Women in War’ is dedicated to the heroic Ukrainian women who have remained in the Kharkiv region since the first days of the full-scale invasion, working in various fields that play a key role in ensuring the life and order in the region.
The first part of the exhibition includes photographs of more than 80 women from Kharkiv region. Among them are servicewomen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who perform combat missions at the frontline on a daily basis, specialists working on de-mining the territory of the region, law enforcement officers, rescuers, doctors, educators and volunteers. There are also photos of women who work in the civil service, ensuring the functioning of critical structures.
The photo project will be supplemented with new stories and photographs reflecting the contribution of women in Kharkiv region to the struggle for Ukraine’s independence.
