European Parliament President Roberta Metsola announced that she has signed a €90 billion loan to support Ukraine. She shared the information on the social media platform X.
According to Metsola, the funds will help maintain essential public services, keep Ukraine’s defense strong, safeguard shared security and freedom, and achieve a real and lasting peace.
She emphasized that the decision is aimed at anchoring Ukraine’s future in Europe.
