On the night of February 17, Russian drones attacked Kyiv region, damaging private homes, cars, and industrial facilities. This was reported by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk.
According to him, air defense was operating in the region and managed to destroy some of the enemy targets. No hits to critical infrastructure were recorded.
However, a 21-year-old man in Boryspil district was injured in the attack – he sustained an arm injury, medics treated him on the spot.
Damage was recorded in four districts:
- Obukhiv district – three private houses and two cars were damaged.
- Vyshgorod district – a production facility caught fire, the fire was extinguished.
- Fastiv district – a fire was reported in a warehouse, which was quickly extinguished.
- Boryspil district – a private house was damaged.
Emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
