On the night of 22 February, Russian drones attacked the Kyiv region. A railway worker was killed and civilian buildings were damaged.

According to law enforcement, a fire broke out in a warehouse in Boryspil district as a result of the shelling, and a private house, an educational institution, and a high-rise apartment were damaged.
A duty officer was killed at a railway crossing while he was at his workplace. ‘We sincerely condole with the family and will definitely support them,’ Ukrzaliznytsia said.
The official vehicle of the Boryspil Patrol Police Response Team was also damaged.
Trains are running at a reduced speed on the section and there are no delays.
