On April 27, a drone attack occurred near the site of the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant. One man was killed in the attack.
This was reported by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
According to the IAEA, the transport facility near the ZNPP was targeted. A driver sustained fatal injuries as a result of the attack.
“Strikes on or near nuclear power plants can threaten nuclear safety and must not occur. An IAEA team on site will investigate the incident and continue to monitor the situation,” the statement said.
As a reminder, on April 26, the 15th blackout occurred at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP—the plant was without external power for an hour and a half.
