Defence forces strike Russian drone control centre in Kursk region

On 4 May, the Ukrainian Air Force struck a Russian UAV control centre near the village of Tyotkino in the Kursk region.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

‘This centre was home to crews of unmanned reconnaissance and strike drones. As a result of the strike, up to 20 occupiers were eliminated and their equipment destroyed.

The brave pilots of the Air Force and all the Defence Forces of Ukraine continue to systematically reduce the aggressor state’s ability to wage a war of aggression,’ the military said.


Today, Russian propaganda outlets began reporting on a new offensive by the Ukrainian Defence Forces in Tyotkino, Kursk Oblast, Russia. The Russians claim that on the night of 5 May, the Ukrainians blew up bridges with missiles and launched an armoured assault in the morning.

Ukraine has not officially commented on these reports.
