The death toll from the Russian strike on Kharkiv has risen to six after fragments of another victim’s body were found during search-and-rescue operations. A total of 59 people were injured, 30 of whom remain in hospital.
This was reported by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleh Syniehubov.
According to him, 35 people sustained blast injuries. The others were diagnosed with cuts and lacerations, injuries from broken glass, bruises and acute stress reactions.
Three children are among the injured. An 11-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy sustained blast injuries, while another 15-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction.
Thirty injured people remain in medical facilities. Three of them are in extremely serious condition.
Medical workers continue to provide the injured with all necessary care, bringing in specialized doctors and additional resources when needed.
Earlier, “Glavnoe in Ukraine” reported that the death toll from the Russian strike on Kharkiv had risen to five, while the number of injured had reached 53.
