The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Centre has issued a warning about dangerous weather conditions in the country.
‘On 5 May, thunderstorms are expected in Zakarpattia, Odesa and most central regions during the day. (Danger level I, yellow),’ the statement said.
On 5 May, short-term rains are expected; in the east and south-east of the country, no precipitation is expected.
The wind will be north-westerly, in the east and south of the country south-westerly, 5-10 m/s, in the southern and eastern regions during the day gusts of 15-20 m/s.
The temperature at night will be 7-12°, during the day 20-25°, in the western and northern regions 11-16°.
In Kyiv, on 5 May, there will be short-term rains, with thunderstorms in some places during the day. The wind will be north-westerly, 5-10 m/s.
Temperatures at night will be 9-11°, during the day 14-16°.
On 6 May, there will be short-term rains in some parts of Ukraine. The wind will be mainly north-easterly, 7-12 m/s.
Temperatures at night will be 5-7° above zero, during the day 13-15°.
