Ukraine is continuing preparations for a bill to legalize the cryptoasset market. The revised document may be submitted to parliament within 1–1.5 months.
This was announced by the head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danylo Hetmantsev. According to him, the legalization of the cryptoasset market is a complex process, and a working group is currently preparing the relevant bill for its second reading.
Hetmantsev said that every effort is being made to submit the revised bill to parliament within the next 1–1.5 months.
He also called on experts, companies, and participants in the crypto market to join the work on the reform, noting that there is little time left to finalize the legislation.
