Units of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting offensive operations in the Oleksandrivka direction and are gradually dislodging Russian troops from their positions. As of now, nine settlements have been liberated, and several more are in the process of being cleared.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As of now, nine settlements have been liberated. Three settlements in our zone have been cleared of the enemy, and work is continuing on the liberation of several more settlements.
During the operation, the enemy is being pushed out of fortified positions. Precise and massive strikes are destroying the occupiers’ manpower, weapons, military and special equipment.
“As a result of the decisions made and the use of technical means, enemy forces’ access to the Starlink network has been restricted. This has significantly affected the occupiers’ situational awareness and complicated the management of units in the first stage, but the enemy has not stopped its offensive actions and has continued to move forward,” the General Staff said.
Since the start of the operation, from January 29 to the present, the enemy has lost 6,537 personnel, of which 4,355 are irretrievable and 2,167 are medical casualties. Fifteen occupiers have been captured.
