As part of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Vladimir Putin to discuss the war in Ukraine.

In his statement, the Indian Prime Minister stressed the priority of the humanitarian aspect and expressed his country’s readiness to provide the necessary assistance in the peaceful settlement process. According to him, India maintains an ongoing dialogue on the situation in Ukraine.
