Belarus has begun training military units in the combat use of nuclear weapons and nuclear support. The missile and aviation forces were involved in the exercises, and some stages are planned to be practiced in cooperation with the Russian side.

The Belarusian Ministry of Defense stated that the purpose of the exercises is to increase the readiness of the army to use modern means of destruction, in particular special ammunition.
Also, during the exercises, they plan to check the readiness of weapons and military equipment to perform tasks and practice combat use from unprepared areas.
“During the exercises, in cooperation with the Russian side, it is planned to work out the issues of delivering nuclear ammunition and preparing them for use,” the message says.
The main emphasis during the training will be on stealth, movement over long distances and calculations for the use of forces and means.
The Belarusian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the exercises are planned within the Union State and “are not directed against third countries.”
