Vladyslav Polskyi, commander of an assault company of the 475th Separate Assault Regiment “Code 9.2,” personally evacuated two seriously wounded soldiers under enemy fire.

        Journalist Andrii Tsaplienko reported this.

According to him, two assault troops from the regiment successfully attacked enemy positions but were later themselves struck by Molniya drones and sustained serious injuries.

A ground robotic platform was sent to evacuate them. While transporting the wounded, it was attacked by a Russian drone, leaving the platform with the immobilized soldiers stranded in open terrain.

At that moment, aerial reconnaissance spotted a pickup truck moving at high speed toward the wounded troops.

According to Tsaplienko, the driver was company commander Vladyslav Polskyi. He rushed to help without even having time to put on his body armor.

Under enemy fire, Polskyi drove up to the damaged robotic platform, personally transferred the wounded soldiers into the vehicle and brought them back to Ukrainian positions.

The journalist noted that the 475th Separate Assault Regiment explains its soldiers’ willingness to carry out difficult assault missions by the fact that they know their commanders do not remain safely behind the lines and are prepared to personally take risks to save their subordinates.
