Iran has released details of a 10-point plan proposed to the United States, which was adopted as the basis for a ceasefire agreement. The terms call for the withdrawal of U.S. troops, the cessation of hostilities, and the lifting of sanctions.

This is reported by the Iranian agency Fars.

It is noted that the 10-point plan proposed by the Islamic Republic of Iran defines the final framework for the cessation of hostilities and contains the following provisions:

        1. Complete cessation of any aggression against Iran and its allied resistance groups.
        2. Withdrawal of U.S. combat forces from the region, a ban on any attacks on Iran from bases, and refraining from putting forces on combat alert.
        3. Limited daily passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz for two weeks under a safe passage protocol supervised by and in accordance with Iran’s established rules.
        4. Lifting of all primary, secondary, and UN sanctions.
        5. Compensation for Iran’s losses through the creation of an investment and financial fund.
        6. Iran’s commitment not to develop nuclear weapons.
        7. U.S. recognition of Iran’s right to enrichment and negotiations regarding the enrichment level.
        8. Iran’s agreement to negotiate bilateral and multilateral peace agreements with countries in the region in accordance with its own interests.
        9. Extension of the non-aggression commitment to all aggressors against all resistance groups.
        10. Termination of all IAEA and UN Security Council resolutions. The commitments are enshrined in an official UN resolution.

Iran had previously rejected the U.S. 15-point plan and linked any ceasefire to the adoption of its own plan and the official approval of U.S. President Donald Trump. It is noted that Trump has officially accepted Iran’s 10-point plan.
