Today, at about 12 o’clock, Russians attacked Odesa with an Iskander-M ballistic missile, which was shot down by air defense.
This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
Unfortunately, in the Prymorskyi district of Odesa, the downed enemy missile fell into a residential area, causing a tragedy. There are dead and injured among the civilian population.
We know about 10 dead. Among them are 7 police officers – investigators and a police escort officer, a medic and 2 local residents.
Another 39 people were injured with varying degrees of severity, including 4 children and 14 law enforcement officers.
The only way to truly stop this terror is to eliminate Russia’s ability to launch attacks. And this is absolutely realistic.

In addition, as the Air Force added, at 11:45 a.m., air defense systems destroyed an enemy Orlan-10 drone on the approach to the city, which was probably used for aerial reconnaissance.
“The enemy is insidious and ruthless… Odesa is constantly under the occupiers’ guns – terrorists deliberately strike densely populated cities with missiles of various types and attack UAVs, knowing that there will be civilian casualties,” the statement said.
