        A car carrying a Russian General was blown up in Moscow

        In southern Moscow, a passenger car exploded in the courtyard of a residential building with a person inside, according to Telegram channels Krymsky Veter and Supernova+. According to preliminary information, at least two cars were damaged in the explosion and one person was injured.

        Eyewitnesses report that the explosion occurred at around 7 a.m. near the Domodedovo metro station on Yasenevaya Street.

        According to preliminary data, Major General Fanil Sarvarov, who holds the position of head of the operational training department of the Russian Armed Forces, was in the car that was blown up.

        UPDATE: The investigation has officially confirmed the death of General Sarvarov. The main version of the murder is linked to the Ukrainian special services, the Investigative Committee said.
