The 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade “Mahura” has reported successful use of ground-based robotic systems on the battlefield. These machines arrived in the unit relatively recently but have already proven effective in challenging frontline conditions.

One of their latest missions was planned over three days by the ground robotic systems company. The task involved delivering ammunition and supplies for fortifying positions at the front line and, on the return leg, evacuating the body of a fallen soldier and a wounded comrade.

The operation required careful planning, support from a drone team, skill in avoiding electronic warfare systems, and evading enemy drones. Despite the risks, the mission was completed successfully.

“To do the same with a pickup truck, you’d need at least two soldiers going into fire. That could mean a destroyed vehicle and lost personnel. But here it’s just the ground drone going in,” explained the company’s senior sergeant with the call sign Pekar.

The brigade emphasizes that such robotic platforms significantly increase safety and mobility at the front, save soldiers’ lives, and allow complex missions to be carried out effectively even under enemy observation and fire.
