On the night of December 12, Russian troops struck a DTEK substation in the Odesa region. Approximately 120,000 homes were left without power, some of which have already been reconnected by energy companies.
This was reported by DTEK.
According to the company, the substation attacked tonight is the twentieth to suffer significant damage in the Odesa region. Another energy company’s facility was also hit.
DTEK has already managed to restore power to 40,000 households through backup schemes. Another 90,000 remain temporarily without power.
“Energy companies throughout the Odesa region are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the shelling as quickly as possible,” the statement said.
