The Ministry of Defense has launched a unified service platform for arms manufacturers in Ukraine. The online platform zbroya.gov.ua, which brings together key government services and opportunities for manufacturers of arms and military equipment, went live today, August 18.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The zbroya.gov.ua platform was created as a single “entry point” where manufacturers can quickly find the services, programs, and relevant information they need. These include:
- preferential 5% loans of up to UAH 500 million for scaling up production, purchasing equipment and components, and launching new developments into serial production;
- “Iron Range” — a service for rapid testing of weapons and military equipment samples;
- “Components Library” — a secure database of manufacturers of components for weapons of various categories;
- “Made for Victory” — a grant program to support Ukrainian manufacturers of components for military equipment, aimed at localizing production and reducing dependence on external suppliers;
- Brave1 grant program for startups, developers, and innovators in the field of defense tech;
- reservation of employees of critical enterprises.
“The task is to simplify interaction between arms manufacturers and the state, to show our partners our potential. We are gathering all services and information about the Ukrainian defense industry in one place. This ecosystem will help speed up testing, scaling, and manufacturing of weapons,” said Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Gvozdyar.
In addition to services, the platform offers educational opportunities for business development and job vacancies, including for veterans who want to join the defense industry. Soon, the website will be supplemented with a regulatory framework in the field of defense and a leasing support program for the purchase of equipment and machinery.
