The 1,183rd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. Over the past day, 164 combat clashes took place on the front line. Most of the assaults were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk (44), Novopavlivka (33), and Lyman (30) directions.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched one missile and 70 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, used one missile, and dropped 116 guided air bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,174 shelling attacks, including 149 with multiple launch rocket systems, and used about 3,048 kamikaze drones.
The aggressor carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:
- Dvorichanske, Kharkiv region;
- Berezhny, Zorya, Poltavka, Kopteve, Popiv Yar, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Piddubne, Novodarivka, Tolstoy in the Donetsk region;
- Filnya in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Gulyaypole, Vysokoye in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy made three attempts to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the Vovchansk area and in the direction of Stroivka.
In the Kupiansk direction, yesterday there was an attack by invaders in the area of Nova Kruglyakivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 30 times. They tried to wedge themselves into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Kopanka, Ridkodub, Novyi Mir, Hrekivka, Zelenaya Dolyna, Yampilivka, and Torske.
In the Siverskyi direction, the enemy made one attempt to advance in the area of Bilohorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked six times in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdyumivka, and towards Predtechino and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of Druzhba, Petrivka, and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 44 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Yablunivka, Novoolenivka, Malynivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Myrolyubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirove, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Troitske, Kotlyarivka, and Andriivka.
Novopavlivka, Kursk, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 33 attacks over the past day in the areas of the settlements of Vilne Pole, Pryvilne, Zelenе Pole, Kostyantynopil, Bahatyr, Burlatskе, Vesele, and in the direction of Odradne.
In the Huliaipilska direction, Ukrainian units repelled two assaults in the Vysokyi area.
In the Orikhivska direction, the occupying forces twice advanced on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Novoandriivka and Malyi Shcherbakiv.
The occupying forces made one unsuccessful attempt to advance in the Prydniprovsk direction.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
In the Kursk direction, the enemy carried out 19 airstrikes over the past day, dropping 40 guided air bombs, and fired 261 times, four of which were from multiple launch rocket systems. Ukrainian defenders stopped 13 assault operations by the invaders.
