Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and the army leadership today ahead of a meeting of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction. The head of state told journalists about the meeting, Ukrinform reports.

Zelenskyy named dialogue between the army and the Ministry of Defense, resolving problems involving territorial recruitment and social support centers, and strengthening the protection of Ukrainian airspace among the priorities.

“Today, I will also hold talks on this matter with the leadership of our army and with Ukraine’s defense minister. All of this will take place before the meeting of the Servant of the People faction. Unity is our great strength,” the president said.

Zelenskyy also named the development of the defense-industrial complex as another priority of state policy.

“Our defense-industrial complex is focused on protecting our skies, and not only the skies. We are working on this. We need to move quickly in one direction, without any politics — toward forcing Russia to end the war. At the very least, to agree to a ceasefire,” the head of state said.
