        President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on social media a meeting between Ukrainian military representatives and the Chiefs of Defence Staff of the United Kingdom and France – Admiral Sir Tony Radakin and General Thierry Burkhard. According to Zelenskyy, the discussions focused on Ukraine’s security and the provision of reliable security guarantees.

        He stated that there is tangible progress and initial details on how the deployment of a partner security contingent might take place.

        The President expressed gratitude to all countries supporting Ukraine, particularly highlighting the leadership of the United Kingdom and France. According to him, this kind of joint effort, with all parties aiming for a strong result, brings Ukraine closer to a reliable and lasting peace.
