Russian company Wildberries is building warehouses in Astana and Almaty, Kazakhstan, with a total area of about 260,000 square meters. The facilities are planned to be commissioned in the first quarter of 2027.
This was reported by the propaganda agency TASS, citing Kazakhstan’s Minister of Trade and Integration Arman Shakkaliyev.
According to him, the company currently leases about 46,000 square meters of warehouse space in the country.
In Almaty, Wildberries is building a complex covering about 160,000 square meters. Another 100,000 square meters of warehouse space is being constructed in Astana.
Shakkaliyev said these projects are part of plans to develop Wildberries’ local branch.
He also clarified that work on the company’s warehouse construction in Kazakhstan has been underway for several years. The total area of the two facilities will amount to about 260,000 square metres.
