The Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit command posts of the “Center” group and the 41st Army of Russia in Donetsk Oblast, using missiles and drones.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of enemy personnel, including commanders.
On September 8, 2025, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered a comprehensive fire strike on the command posts of the Russian occupation forces in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.
“With the forces and means of the Missile Forces and Artillery, the Air Force, and the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defence Forces, command posts of the “Center” grouping of forces and the 41st Combined Arms Army of the russian Ground Forces were struck,” the statement said.
These military formations of the invaders are operating in the Pokrovsk direction.
On August 28, Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov visited command posts in this direction. Shortly after his visit, Ukrainian defenders successfully struck the specified locations of the occupation army’s command.
