Ukrainian Defence Forces Strike S-400 Radar Station in Kursk Region

In the early hours of 24 November, Ukrainian Rocket Forces, in coordination with other Defence Forces units, launched a group strike on the positions of the 1490th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment of Russia’s 6th Army, located in the Kursk region.

The strike successfully hit the radar station of an S-400 air defence system, disrupting its operations.

Notably, this Russian unit had been using the S-400 in a ground-to-ground mode, targeting stationary ground objectives. Such strikes by Russian forces often hit civilian infrastructure and harm residents in Ukraine’s frontline regions.

This precision attack underscores Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to neutralize threats to its civilian population and maintain operational pressure on enemy positions.
