The 1218th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From June 24 to June 25, 151 combat engagements took place at the front. In the Pokrovsk sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 65 occupants’ attacks, in the Liman sector the number of attacks amounted to 18, and in the Toretsk sector 15 attacks were repelled.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the day, the enemy launched three missile and 64 air strikes, used nine missiles and dropped 118 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it carried out 6338 attacks, including 106 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3943 kamikaze drones to defeat it.
The aggressor carried out air strikes in the areas of settlements:
- Hremyach, Chernihiv region;
- Vovchanski Khutory, Artilne, and Zybyno in Kharkiv region;
- Popov Yar, Donetsk region;
- Malynivka, Novoandriivka, Kamianske, Novooleksandrivka, Novopavlivka, Stepnohirsk in Zaporizhzhia region;
- Odradokamianka, Kherson region.
North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
Ukrainian troops repelled five militants’ attacks in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk sectors yesterday. The enemy also carried out ten air strikes, using 16 guided aerial bombs, and fired 189 times, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lymansky and Seversky directions
In the South-Slobozhansky sector, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian troops eight times near Vovchansk and Kamyanka.
In the Kupyansk sector, five attacks took place yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy’s assault near Stepova Novoselivka, Kruhlyakivka, Zelenyi Hai, towards Pishchane and Kurylivka.
The enemy attacked 18 times in the Liman sector. He tried to break into the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defense near the settlements of Kolodyazi, Torske, in the directions of Novyi Myr, Zelena Dolyna, Shandryholove, Hrekivka and Druzhelyubivka.
In the Siversky sector, the enemy made five attempts to advance in the areas of Hryhorivka and Ivano-Daryivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk and Pokrovsk sectors
In the Kramatorsk sector, the occupants attacked eight times in the areas of Chasovyi Yar, Stupochky and in the direction of Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out 15 attacks near Toretsk, Nelipivka, in the direction of Rusyn Yar and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders stopped 65 aggressor’s attacks in the areas of Sribne, Bohdanivka, Novosergiivka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Malynivka, Myrne, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Chuhueve, Serhiivka, Novomykolaivka, Kotlyarivka, Oleksiivka, Dachne and in the direction of Muravka, Myrnohrad, Poltavka and Volodymyrivka.
Novopavlivskyi, Prydniprovskyi, Gulyaypilskyi and other directions
In the Novopavlivka sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near the localities of Bahatyr, Zelene Pole, Vesele, Novosilka, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole, as well as in the direction of Novopil, Zaporizhzhia and Komara.
In the Huliaipil sector, the enemy, with the support of aviation, launched one attack on the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Malynivka, which was unsuccessful.
The defense forces repelled one attack by the occupation forces in the Orikhivsk sector near Kamianske.
In the Prydniprovsky sector, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defense Forces three times yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
