On the night of September 12, starting at 10 p.m. on September 11, the Russians launched 40 Shahed and Gerbera strike UAVs and other types of drones against Ukraine from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. More than 20 of these drones were identified as Shaheds.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:00 a.m., air defense forces shot down/suppressed 33 Shahed, Gerbera, and other types of drones in the north, east, and center of the country.
Six strike UAVs were recorded hitting three locations.
