Ukraine’s economy grew by 4% since the beginning of the year

In 11 months of 2024, the Ukrainian economy grew by 4% [±0.5%], according to the Ministry of Economy. The main growth drivers were the transportation and construction industries, manufacturing, and domestic trade. 

First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized that government programs, such as:

  • grants for processing and business development,
  • the affordable lending program “5-7-9%”
  • housing program “eOselya” and other initiatives under the “Made in Ukraine” policy.

The increase in purchases of Ukrainian defense products also stimulates the growth of machine building.

Positive dynamics in November:

  • Transportation: stable operation of the Ukrainian Sea Corridor.
  • Construction: active government support programs.
  • Domestic trade: Steady demand and stable supply.
  • Manufacturing: government recovery programs, access to imported electricity.
  • Extractive industry: launch of new gas production wells.
