Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to target strategic facilities of Russia’s military-industrial complex, weakening the aggressor state’s offensive potential. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the operation on Tuesday.
On October 21, Ukraine’s Air Force, in coordination with the Ground Forces, the Navy, and other defense units, carried out a massive combined missile and air strike on the Bryansk Chemical Plant in Russia.
According to the General Staff, the strike involved Storm Shadow air-launched missiles, which successfully penetrated Russia’s air defense system. The results of the strike are currently being assessed.
The Bryansk Chemical Plant is one of the key enterprises of Russia’s defense industry. It produces gunpowder, explosives, and rocket fuel components used in ammunition and missiles that Moscow employs for attacks against Ukraine.
“We thank our partners for their consistent support of Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression,” the General Staff said.
