In 2026, Ukraine will be able to produce 20 million drones. This will be possible provided that adequate funding is received from partners.

This was announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on Telegram following the Ramstein meeting.

“In 2026, we will be able to build up to 10 million FPV, ISR, and other drones if our partners provide the necessary funding,” the statement said.

The minister also thanked Britain for its cooperation in the field of interceptor drones and for providing 85,000 drones this year.

He also announced that two important memoranda had been signed today — with Germany and Poland.

The memorandum with Germany concerns the strengthening of defense cooperation. Shmyhal called these specific steps to repel Russian aggression and build an effective arsenal of democracy.

“We also signed a memorandum on the North Baltic Initiative to provide training and equipment to Ukraine at the brigade level in Poland. This initiative will strengthen Ukraine’s defense capabilities and contribute to the achievement of a just peace,” the minister said.

Shmyhal thanked all the countries that today announced their commitment to continue providing the Ukrainian army with what it needs.
