        Ukraine repels one of Russia’s largest air attacks – almost 500 targets destroyed

        On the night of 9 June, Russia launched one of its largest air attacks on Ukraine, using a total of 499 air attack aircraft. Defence forces destroyed 479 of them.

        This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        In particular, the enemy launched:

        • 479 Shahed attack UAVs and imitator drones;
        • 4 Kinzhal aerial ballistic missiles;
        • 10 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
        • 3 Kh-22 cruise missiles;
        • 2 Kh-31P anti-radar missiles;
        • 1 Kh-35 cruise missile.

        As of 10:30 a.m., 292 targets were destroyed, and another 187 locally lost.

        In particular:

        • 277 Shahed and other UAVs were shot down, 183 were suppressed;
        • all 10 Kh-101 missiles were shot down;
        • all 4 ‘Daggers’ were destroyed;
        • 2 Kh-22 missiles did not reach their targets;
        • Kh-31P and X-35 missiles were destroyed.
