According to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on 2 May, between approximately 9:30 p.m. and 10:15 p.m., Russian armed forces carried out a large-scale attack on Kharkiv using strike drones.
The enemy used at least 15 UAVs, preliminarily identified as Geran-2.
Fifty-one people, including two children, were injured.
It has been established that during the attack, the Russian army used strike drones with thermobaric warheads.
‘Such weapons create a powerful blast wave and a high-temperature cloud, causing massive destruction and numerous casualties among the civilian population. Their use is particularly dangerous and may indicate a deliberate violation of international humanitarian law,’ the prosecutor’s office said.
