The number of Ukrainians who have moved abroad has increased to almost 7 million. This is stated in the report of the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the NBU, about 100,000 people have left the country since the beginning of 2025 alone. At the same time, the number of internally displaced persons in Ukraine has increased – as of March, there were about 3.8 million of them. Most IDPs live in Dnipro (16%) and Kharkiv (12%) regions. More than half of them are from the territories that have been fully or partially occupied.

Meanwhile, the number of vacancies in Ukraine is growing, as is the number of job seekers. According to the NBU, the number of job seekers has increased in the labour market, which has eased the problem of labour shortages. However, there is still a significant mismatch between professions, namely, there are certain professions with few job seekers and professions with high competition for jobs.
