        The number of battles on the front line rises to 196 per day, most in the Pokrovsk sector

        The 1,163rd day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. During the day, 196 combat engagements were recorded on the front line, 85 of them in the Pokrovsk direction alone.

        This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

        During the day, the enemy launched one missile strike on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, using one missile and 92 airstrikes, dropping 139 guided bombs. In addition, they carried out 5,900 shellings, including 145 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 2,677 kamikaze drones to strike their targets.

        The occupiers carried out air strikes on the following populated areas:

        • Mykhailivske, Mala Rybitsa, Prokhody, Myropilske, Novodmytrivka, Ugroidy in the Sumy region;
        • Rusyn Yar, Malynivka, Hrodivka, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk, Novopil, Rusyn Yar, Zoria, Oleksandro-Kalinove, Nova Poltavka, Zelenyi Kut, Yalta, Ivanivka, Hrodivka, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Sukhyi Yar, Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region;
        • Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region;
        • Tomaryne in the Kherson region.

        Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, and Siverskyi directions

        In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy twice attempted to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the Vovchansk area.

        In the Kupiansk direction, six attacks by invaders took place yesterday. The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy assaults in the direction of Petropavlivka, Hlushevka, Novoosynove, and Zagryzove.

        In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 36 times, trying to wedge itself into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novoserhiivka, Nadiia, Tverdokhlibove, Ridkodub, Nove, Novyi Mir, Zelenaya Dolyna, Kolodiazi, and in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Hrekivka.

        In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian soldiers successfully stopped two enemy attacks near Verkhniokam’yanske.

        Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions

        In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked six times in the areas of Bila Hora, Andriivka, and Chasiv Yar.

        In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out ten attacks in the areas of Druzhba, Dachne, Diliivka, and Toretsk.

        In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 85 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Stara Mykolaivka, Kalynove, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Promin, Dachenske, Nadiivka, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyarivka, Troitske, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and in the direction of Zoria, Malynivka, Myrolyubivka, Hnativka, Oleksandropil, Pokrovska, Novoseriivka, and Nova Poltavka.

        Novopavlivka, Orikhiv, and Kursk directions

        In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 16 attacks yesterday in the areas of Kostyantynopil, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, and in the direction of Odrudne, Shevchenko, and Bahatyr.

        In the Huliaipole direction, there were no clashes over the past day.

        In the Orikhiv direction, the occupying forces stormed the positions of the Defense Forces five times near Stepove, Lobkove, and Kam’yanske.

        In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped one enemy attack.

        In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

        Ukrainian defense forces continue their operation in the Kursk region. Over the past day, 21 combat clashes took place in this direction, the enemy carried out 13 airstrikes, dropping 16 guided bombs, and carried out 266 shelling attacks, five of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
