The 1,254th day of Russia’s large-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. From July 30 to July 31, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 193 attacks by the occupiers. There were 49 battles in the Pokrovsk direction, 32 Russian attacks were repelled in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, and the enemy carried out 24 attacks in the Novopavlivsky direction.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 70 airstrikes and dropped 122 guided bombs. In addition, it carried out 5,557 shellings, including 64 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,472 kamikaze drones to strike targets. The aggressor carried out an air strike with guided bombs on the village of Bilohirya in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled 32 Russian attacks. Over the past day, the enemy carried out seven air strikes, dropping a total of 17 guided aerial bombs and firing 317 artillery shells, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems.
South Slobozhansky, Kupyansky, Lyman, and Siversky directions
In the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian troops stopped ten enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Krasne Pershe, and Kamianka.
Yesterday, there were five attacks by the invaders in the Kupiansk direction. Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy assaults in the areas of the settlements of Kindrashivka, Zagryzove, and in the direction of Kupiansk.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 20 times, trying to break through the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ defenses near the settlements of Karpivka, Novyi Mir, Ridkodub, Yampilivka, and Dibrova, in the direction of the settlements of Dronivka, Shandryholove, Olgivka, and Yampil.
In the Siverskyi direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped 13 enemy attacks near Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, Vyimka, Zvanivka, and Fedorivka.
Kramatorsk, Toretsk, Pokrovsk directions
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked seven times in the areas of Chasovoy Yar, Minkivka, Novomarkovo, and in the direction of Bondarnoe and Predtechino.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 14 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Toretsk, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbinivka, Oleksandro-Kalinove, in the direction of Stepanivka, Bila Hora, and Pleshchiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped 49 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Fedorivka, Novoekonomichne, Promin, Lysivka, Zvirivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Horikove, in the direction of the settlements of Boikivka, Novopavlivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Novoukrainka, and Dachne.
Novopavlivka, Prydniprovsk, Orikhiv, and other directions
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy carried out 24 attacks yesterday in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Komar, Perebudova, Piddubne, Maliivka, Fedorivka, Shevchenko, and Novopil.
In the Huliaipilske direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled one enemy attack near the settlement of Malynivka.
The aggressor attacked once in the Orikhiv direction — the occupiers tried to advance in the area of the village of Plavni.
In the Prydniprovsk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully stopped three enemy attacks.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
